Throstle Nest Farm · Nidderdale
Retreats @ Throstle Nest
Two individual places to stay, each with its own character,
set within the old stone buildings and landscape of Throstle Nest.
Our retreats are deliberately different. Flashman’s is playful,
secluded and idiosyncratic; Yeoman’s is quieter, older and more
architectural. Both offer a private place from which to enjoy the
farm, the dale and the particular stillness of this corner of Nidderdale.
Retreat One
Flashman’s Retreat
A secluded and characterful hideaway with its own sense of escape.
Individual, informal and slightly unexpected, Flashman’s Retreat
is designed as a place to disappear for a while — somewhere for
quiet mornings, long walks and evenings away from the ordinary.
Retreat Two
Yeoman’s Retreat
An old stone retreat of beams, small rooms and quiet corners.
Set within a traditional building at Throstle Nest, Yeoman’s Retreat
is a more restrained and architectural place to stay — shaped by
old stone, irregular proportions and the simple pleasure of peace.
Stay at Throstle Nest
Two retreats.
One landscape.
Both retreats sit within the wider world of Throstle Nest —
the farm, the horses, the old buildings and the changing
landscape of Nidderdale.
